No one can predict by Scripture or science the exact day of Jesus' return. Jesus is teaching that preparation, not calculation, is needed.

Why does Jesus encourage focusing on the daily task at hand and discourage predicting the future? Nobody knows tomorrows is only God so predicting the future is needless. We just have to be alert, pray, and keep watching.
