Why did Jesus choose such a humble entrance (riding on a donkey) when He came into Jerusalem? Donkeys cary loads and because Jesus knew he was about to be crucified for our sins he had to chose a donkey a very humble and obedien animal which is used in carrying heavy loads to demonstrate his (Jesus) humility and our burden he would carry to the cross.
