My own understanding toward this question  is that, Jesus Christ will hold the religious leaders at that time responsible because they sat and allowed this woman to suffer all the days of her life with out knowing his father who is in heaven, the problems solver, the one that you can count on in time of trouble. I will also say Christ, hold Satan responsible for the suffering of the woman because he is like a rolling Lion seeking to track us down so that we can not know our Lord.
