Jesus was commited to sacrifice his own life. What did he mean by the statement, "For who ever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake and the gospel will save it"?

Jesus left His kingdom in heaven to come into hearth for a purpose. And that it is, to laid His life down and died on the cross for remittance of our sin.

Whoever want to follow Him, must forget about the world and those things in it. Forgetting even their parents, wife or children. For it is not possible for us to do two things at a time, or we may loss the kingdom of God.
