Why did those who passed by mock Jesus? They mocked Jesus becuase, they did not understand His mission. They didn`t know that he had to suffer in order to save us. They knew He has the power to save Himself, so they were trying to put Him to the test forgetting His own words Thou shall not tempt the Lord thy God. He had to die to have dominion over everything on earth and beyond.
