3400 entries for this category: Why was the king so angry when those invited did not come to the wedding banquet? What point was Jesus making with this parable? Jesus came and His people reject Him because, for one reason or the other, they refused to accept Him.
Today, there are many churches around preaching the word of God, inviting people to come and accept Jesus free of charge. But, instead, preferred to go on their ways. For He said for as many as believed in Him He gave power to become the son of God. So Jesus is giving a warning notice to everybody to come to the Father before it is too late.

How is it that the Christ is descended from David, and yet David still calls Him Lord? David is a descendant of Abraham. And Abraham is the sample of faith. Before Abraham was the Son of God - Jesus. Jesus said - before he Abraham was born He was there. When God is about to create Adam and Eve, He called, COME, LET US CREAT A MAN IN OUR CREATURE. Therefore Jesus was only come to earth through lineage of David. And David been a King knows certainly that Jesus is above any prophet before him and the reason why he recognised Him as Lord.
