What did you learn about Jesus` background that stands out or surprises you?

The Houses were the live that is 1-2 room squares, with dirt floors, flat roofs, low and narrow doorways, and front wooden doors and again that the women daily job is cooking food for their family. The use of wild honey or syrups for sweetened thir food.

What did you learn about Jesus` background that stands out or surprises you?

Jesus spent most of his life in and Jesus was brought up around the farming village area of Nazareth. Similar to many farming villages throughout the world, life was patterned after traditions, roles and rituals passed down from many generations beforehand. But he never allow these things to cut off his divine mission on earth.

My Brief Summary of Jesus

Jesus is God himself that came in the likeness of man in other to redeem mankind. He was born in Isreal 2000 years ago.He lived on earth thirty three years. The first thirty years as a traditional Jewish life, working as a carpenter. He began his public teaching and working miracles. He preaches about the love of God, love of one another, immense value of each person, goodnews about the kingdom, reality of jugement to heaven or hell, God forgiveness to those who ask. The jewish where no happy about his teaching, claiming to be God himself etc. He was arrested, tutured, nailed on the cross and on the third day he resurrected from the grave, and still continue the work of God.
