What do you learn about Jesus, asking one of the most disliked men in town to become his follower?

This was after HE forgave the paralytic. I think this shows that HE came for those who realize their need and desire HIM. He washes away sins!!. And works with the so-called outcast.

Why did Jesus forgive the man`s sins first, and heal afterward?

We should know whoever that sinned can not see God, lets alone of knowing or receive miracle from him. That's how much God hate sin(s) some scripture tells us more 1john 1:8. John8:34. Isaiah 59:2. Psalm 66:18 etc. But his promises of grace is enough for us, whoever that ready to "1john 1:9. Eph 2:4-5. Heb 8:12 etc. That's why Christ displayed his authority as son of God to forgive his sin first before the Healing.

Why did Jesus forgive the man`s sins first, and heal afterward?

He forgave him his sins first because he saw the strong faith in them. They believed that if only they could find their way close to Jesus, healing would take place, and that was what happened.
