Why does Jesus encourage focusing on the daily task at hand and discourage predicting the future? He did because, nobody knows when or how he/ she is going to die and appear before the 'throne of accountancy'.

Why does Jesus encourage focusing on the daily task at hand and discourage predicting the future? it is because no one knows tomorrow,so he advises us to make good use of our today by adhering to the will of God because it is only the maker (GOD) who knows tomorrow.
