What is "the Christ"? How is it different than one of the prophets? Christ is different from one of the prophets. He is not a prophet, He is higher than the prophets. He is one of the Trinity, God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. He came to give His life as a ransome for the soul of man. None of the prophets can do that.

What is "the Christ"? How is it different than one of the prophets? ''The Christ" is different from the prophets because it was foretold in the scriptures that Christ, the son of God, will be the Messiah, our saviour. He will suffer for our sins, crucified, dead and buried. That he will rise on the third day, and all these came to pass.
