He is ALIVE!

Jesus the carpenter's son, the King of kings born of Virgin Mary in a Bethlehem and raised in Nazareth, started his Ministry, which lasted for only 3 years at the age of 30. His teaching was centred on God's love, mercies for man, and the reality of life after here. Jesus Christ made claims that cost Him His life; He was brutalised for our sins and killed in 3 hours that we might be saved. He rose on the third day and ascended to heaven after 40 days of His journey to parts of Israel. HE LIVES!

Why did Jesus´ penalty for "sin" need to include physical and emotional pain - why not just spiritual separation from God?

It is hrd to understand why he had to undergo this for us. However, one of the reasons may have been for us in our weakness to be able to over come difficulties and death. Christ went through this on our behalf to be able over come the pain and condemnation brought uopn us by the satan and sin. He went through this as an ultimate sacrifice for us. And in him we can over come if we trust and obey.
