The small seed is like the mustard seed, which when grown becomes a big tree with branches that birds lodge comfortably. It is like evangelising the word of God, which helps people to live and grow as Christians, thereby helping them to enjoy the kingdom of God on the last day. This is contrary to the huge or wild bush that may not habor the birds or human beings, but rather wild plants and animals that would be enemical like the devil.

What does the contrast between the small seed and huge bush teach you about the kingdom of God? It thought me of how great is Our lord Jesus christ and how the word of God filled the earth. Jesus came from an unknown(little), family, but was and is known by everyone. He came very litle like the mustard seed but grew to be known by all(very great). The word of God also, started with a small group of people but now its known and preached all over the whole world... Great is our Lord Jesus!
