3400 entries for this category: As I learnt about Jesus' background, I just can't stop wondering why the Jews refused to believe on him, inspite of the many Miracles and demonstrable proof of His Messiahship. In His youth, they wondered about his wisdom when He was found in the temple teaching and asking questions from the rabbis. At a point, He asked them which of them could convict Him of sin; and when there was none, He asked, then why don't you believe on Me? (John 8:46). It's amazing to me that inspite of all the scriptures pointing to Him as the Messaiah, the Jews find it hard to believe Him. This is what surprises me the most about Jesus' life and background What did you learn about Jesus` background that stands out or surprises you?

SAY NO TO MANY GOOD IDEAS. One of the devilstricks is getting us to say yes to too many good things. As a result, we end up being spread so thin that we are mediocre in everything and excellent in nothing. There is one guaranteed formula for fairlure, and that is to cry please everyone. REMEMBER, saying no to a good idea does not always mean saying never. No may mean not right now.

Jesus small beginnings grew to have a major effect. What seemingly small things in your life can grow over time to have a big effect? Giving to the Needy and Disable. By doing this it will grow and have a big effect in my LIFE.
