Jesus wants us to be completely dependent on God in all areas of our lives, since He has the love and the power to do us good, as He prefers to create us in His own image. If God can feed the birds of the air without them working or selling, then he can do abundantly more than what we expect.

I feel Jesus will tell the morally upright religious leaders today that all that they are doing is wrong. For example most of them now is thinking of popularizing themselves but not Christ. He will tell them to reorganise themselves and start exhibiting the great commandment, which is love and stop the competition that is going on within them.
