FORGIVE & FORGET

We all tend to use these 2 words concurrently but always fail to apply them correctly.

Forgiveness is not an easy act. As human beings we tend to say it more than we do it . Its easier to say I have forgiven you than to actually forgive. And then when we actually forgive, do we really forget?

We need the special grace of God, a spirit shielded by light from above to do these two.

Why did Jesus´ penalty for "sin" need to include physical and emotional pain - why not just spiritual separation from God?

Many of us when we are in some situations use to say, "Jesus will not understand".

Jesus experiencing both physical and emotional pain is for us to know that He has seen it all. Every situation we find ourself has a physical and emotional side. It is not outside Gods capacity to have just taken Jesus up to heavens and yet make him His Son. But He choose to allow his son to pass through such pain so that he can show us what to experience in this world.

What did you learn about Jesus` background that stands out or surprises you?

I found that the Jews were the kind of people that took there religion very serious, and there law very strict. I learnt that it is always good to ask God for understanding. Due to the understanding Jesus had, he was able to challenge teachers at the synaguoge.
