Yes Jesus beleives they are valuable, very valuable. Remember the beatitudes and every other passage in the bible relating to faith. it never said that your wealth or position determines your faith.

Jesus taught us that how deep our pocket is do not matter.He says love your neighbour as your self. who is our neighbour -recall the story of the good samaritan. We should not discriminate. that is the import of Jesus message.

have we ever wondered why Jesus said -it will be easier for the camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for the rich to see the Kingdom of God. most of us that consider ourself the rich have attitude problem. We cant sit beside somebody that we consider not properly dressed, we always look at the outward to judge people, we become too materialistic that we forget where we come from.

Jesus is saying it should not be so. We must learn to relate to all. Be a friend to the needy. Jesus said, if you do good to those who do good to you, you gain nothing. We must learn to be like Jesus.

The Lord's approach to praying that could be useful to me is, in time of difficulty, you should always pray frequently and while doing so, you need a quiet place to open you heart to God
