Jesus believe lowly people are valuable

Jesus did not create any barrier (social, spiritual,etc) or discrimate against them, to reach to man (created in the image of God), with the love of God. He did not despise or neglect the lowly as part of men in general. He identified with them in every way. He commended them, prayed for them, received them, spoke comfortably with them (preached). He related well with them. And brought them up from grass to grace.

Yes, he is so concerned about them because they are part of the reason he came to die but he dispised the proud
