What did you learn about Jesus` background that stands out or surprises you?

It is real redemptive work that brought Jesus to the world, else it would have been so difficult for Him as the Son of God to endure the contradiction of sinners; He like righteous Lot had His soul vexed daily, on that background. Endurance was made possible in all kinds of whether because the culture had a godly law to envision with, and live by. Where there is no law there cannot be such vision. Such is the case in these heathen lands. I just like Jesus for just been such an example, despite all odds.

Jesus is an embodiment of humility. Knowing fully well that He is God, He submitted Himself to His "foster parents" and learnt from them the basic principles of life - Phillipians 2:5-11
