What did he mean by the statement, "For who ever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake and the gospel will save it"? what jesus meant is that ,any one who loves the world cannot make heaven .for a man cannot serve two master and love them at the same time for he will hate one and love the other. one must be able to overcome things of the flesh and resist the devil before you can make heaven.
