To be loved by God is to keep God's Commandment, for God says, If you love me keep my commandment, for he who love him shall be loved by his father.

 for God loves us he gave Jesus his only son, so it is our love to him by doing his will that will balance both love between us. 

Gods love can never be compared to ours because our cleanliness before God is like a filthy rag. 

Again God forgive our sins any time we asked for forgiveness of sin, so should we forgive those that offends us on daily bases. 

 These are what God expects us to do so as to be loved by HIM.
