Why did Jesus tell the man to take up the mat and walk, even though Jesus knew this violated what the Jews permitted on the Sabbath? HE DID THAT TO PROVE THAT THE LAW DOES NOT HAVE POWER OVER HIM. HE WANT US TO WORK/WALK BY FAITH AND NOT BY THE LAW.

Why was sending Jesus to live on earth such an effective way for God to tell people about Himself? Jesus was sent to earth to symbolize God and for the people to know the different between God and the prophets.
