Why does Jesus consider this woman`s desire to please Jesus more important than giving to the poor?

The woman is doing her bit on her own way. Annointing Christ with ointment is to prepare Him for the task of crusification which nobody could do after that moment.

What did Jesus imply by saying, "This is my blood of the new coveneant, which is poured out for many."? Consider that the Passover was a Jewish festival that remembered when a plague of death "passed over" the home of those Jewish people who marked their doors with blood from a lamb. Jews remembered this day with a feast of unleavened bread.

This is simply imply that He is going to shed His blood for our sins. By this, it eradicate the sacrificing of lamb to God as it was during the live of Moses and other prophets before Him (Jesus).

Jesus was simply telling the disciples that His own blood will be shed on the cross for the sake of man's redemption.This sacrifice (new Convenant)of His will replace the the yearly sacrifice of lamb blood(old covenant).
