What is in the heart of the tax collector (rejected by society) that the Pharasee (religious leader) seems to lack? The tax collected displayed HUMILITY in his prayers.This was strongly lacking in the pharisee who was self righteous.

What is in the heart of the tax collector (rejected by society) that the Pharasee (religious leader) seems to lack? The tax collector humbled himself before God, and asked for forgiveness, and God forgave and honoured his prayer. But the Pharasee was proud and refused to humble himself and and rejected his prayer. For God exalt the humbled and bring down the proud.
