Jesus says give unto God which of God. That is, Praises and worship.

Why did Jesus answer their question with a question? Why didn`t he just say that his authority came from God?

Because Jesus knows their mind. Therefore, instead of Him to answer their question, he put them into more confusion.

What is Jesus trying to teach with this parable? Hint: The vineyard (where grapes are grown) is Israel; The farmer is God; the servants are the prophets who were sent by God; the son is Jesus; and the tenants are religious leaders of the Jews.

Jews were described by Christ as vineyard while the Prophets sent before Christ were also described as servant sent to the farmers (Pharises and Saduces) but were arrested or killed or maimed. Jesus Christ, the SON OF GOD (the owner of the farm) was also sent but was crucified as well. He is gone to the heaven to sit for judgment at the of the sojourn on earth.
