At the baptism of Jesus by John the Baptist, the heavens opened and the Holy Spirit decended upon the Son in the form of a dove and the voice of the Father was heard saying, "This is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased". Of course, He did miracles, healed the sick, raised the dead, walked on the sea, forgave people of their sins, made the cripple walk, died for us to forgive us of our sins & to give us eternal life.

I believe that the "eternal life" Jesus offers differ from the "ordinary life" people live in a mighty major way, in the sense that there are no more pains, sorrows or tears just happiness, love & sharing. This is the life God wanted for us before Adam & Eve first sinned.
