What would have been your response if you had seen Jesus killed and then alive again? What would cause others to respond differently?

If I had seen Jesus killed and then alive again, this would have been the greatest moment in my life. I would have made sure to spread it all over the land that Jesus is God's Son and that He did come to save us sinners and to give us Eternal Life by His death & Resurrection.

Others would probably respond differently because of their unbelief, fear for the Soldiers and fear of death.

Joseph from the town of Arimathaea was a wealthy Jewish religious leader. What risk did he take and why was he willing to do this? Note: Isaiah 53:9 - "And they made His grave with the wicked, But with the rich at His death."

I believe that since he was a religious leader, he did the best thing that he could have done for Jesus by giving Him an appropriate burial; since he could do nothing to stop His death. Plus he fulfilled the prophecy of the Old Testament.

What was Jesus feeling and thinking while he was mocked and humiliated in front of others? Recall Jesus` own teachings (Matt 5:11), "Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me.

I do believe that Jesus felt sorry for all those who mocked and humilated Him because little do they know what awaited them after death.
