I believe that Jesus' followers were called children of light because they recieved the Word, followed Jesus & knew more of what was right & wrong. Jesus is light so I guess as His followers, they were children of light.

Why was Mary`s annointing so meaningful to Jesus? Jesus knew that He wouldn't be with them too long. He knew that His death was near so He allowed Mary to lavishly anoint Him. As He said, there will be poor always.

Why did Jesus equate raising Lazarus from the dead with "seeing the glory of God"? Well, no one on this earth can raise a dead man back to life. Only God above; Spiritual, Holy & Majestic but Jesus is God's Son so for the benefit of all who stood there & watched, Jesus asked God aloud for the raising from the dead of His best friend Lazarus. The act alone was for the Glory of God. Firstly, Jesus is God's Son, secondly, only God can raise someone from the dead. So it was done for His Glory.
