This is Jesus` sharp response to a trick question about divorce from religious lawyers. What does Jesus say is God`s role in a marriage? What motivation to stay together might Jesus offer a struggling couple?

Jesus said that a man & woman should be together and that no one should go in between that couple. Meaning no one should break up that marriage. I think that Jesus would tell a struggling couple to stick it out to the end, pray together, repent together and ask our Heavenly Father for guidance & Blessings in the marriage; for without Him, we all go astray.

Jesus exaggerates to makes the point that one should eliminate things that cause one to sin (disobey God). What things might you eliminate to be more spiritually healthy?

I would eliminate anger, impatience, jealousy, unkindness, suspicion, laziness, lack of self control & the slight swearing that seems to plague me these past 2 days.
