Was Jesus trying to incite his death (eg. temple cleansing, accusation of leaders?)

I don`t think Jesus tried to incite His death. He just remained humble and let everything take course for His death was all written out already.

Which of these purposes do you believe Jesus accomplished?

I believe that Jesus accomplished all these purposes but the one that is still in process is To Help People Understand the Kingdom of God. I believe that not everyone has heard about Jesus and His Word. That is why there is the saying that goes The Harvest is rich but the Labourers are few.

How does Jesus link intimacy to him with obedience to him? a New commandment?

He says that the one who keeps His commandments is the one that loves Him. He showed us His own obedience to the Father by His own death on the cross for all thus showing us His love for us. He also willingly carries our burdens, offers us His yoke, He makes everything easy for us. He shows us the way to Him. All we have to do is believe in Him and follow Him.
