Jesus, rebuked the disciples for being fearful. How should they have responsed to the storm? The disciples had fear, and they expressed their emotions by saying: "save us Oh Lord, we are dying". The desperation of dying make them to ask Jesus for help. I dare to say that the disciples should have had confidence and trust that Jesus was there and that they were not going to dye, even though the storm was violent, they would have had peace, because they knew Jesus was there to take control of the situation. Just resting peacefully as Jesus was. And of course they should have prayed God the Father as Jesus has taught them.

Why did Jesus seem to discourage the Scribe and the disciple from following Him? Didn`t He want these two to join Him? Jesus did not mean to discourage the Scribe and the disciple from following him but to let them know that the way was not easy, that if they want to be his follower they would have to drop richness to search the main goal. Of course he wanted them to join him, but in truth, knowing what it awaits a follower, and going through conscientiously.
