Why did God choose such a unique way (through a virgin birth) to bring Jesus into the world? Definitely it was a unique way, because Jesus was the son of God, it had to be through a "virgin mother", through a diferent conception, not human way of conception, but by the power and the intervention of God alone, by the holy spirit, so God's power would shine and be manifest alone and no doubt of Jesus's as son of God. Nevertheless, Jesus became flesh and he inherit the cromosomes of Mary his mother, but that's it.

Given the scandals associated with the women Tamar, Rahab, Ruth and the wife of Uriah (Bathsheba), why do you think they were mentioned in the geneology of Jesus? All the persons mentioned in the geneology of Jesus are part of God's plan, of the holly history of salvation. They are the necessary chain of people that God choose. It was true and we can not put make up on it. Jesus was the sun to lighten all the shadows. To save all the generations past, present and future.
