The greeting "Peace be to you', coming from Jesus, will eternally have special meaning to those who need it. Jesus knew that the disciples had such fear of the jews, so, Jesus found that 'peace' was at that time the priority need of the disciples. Jesus's greetings to the disciples were to ministry their souls; that gives them special significance.

Why do you think Jesus chose, after he rose, to show Himself first to Mary Magdalene? God's plans are not us, his thoughts are diferent, his phycology to choose or treat people it is just unique. He chose Mary Magdalene to tell the disciples that he had risen from the death, probably because Jesus considered that Mary Magdalene had great faith and was prepared to believe in his resurrection and could firmly spread the news to the disciples. Probably because he saw that she was really desiring and expecting his resurrection more than others. But nevertheless, Jesus could have no reason at all to choose her, just grace, just love.

What do you think the disciples felt when they saw the tomb was empty? I try to figure out what I would have felt if I was one of the disciples that saw the tomb empty, I think the same what I think of the disciples.!great confusion before something never ocurred before, something that did not have a rational explanation; wonder, expectation, hope, that what jesus said about his risen from the death on the third day might be true. But also some kind of fear and worryness that somebody could have taken his body; minds runing without rest to find out answers.
