What lesson do you think Jesus was teaching His disciples when He fed the multitude with five loaves and two fish? That Jesus can always surpass our limitations, because he is almighty and he will always be willing to cover our needs. Where there is a need, there is a compassionate God. A truth: there is our own limitations in one hand, and the greatness and power of God, on the other. Never dissapoint for our limitations, because we can expect great things from God, he is able, always to provide us plentyfully.

Why did God allow John to be beheaded by Herod? Because John s mission had already finished, he prepared the way to the Lord Jesus. I would not dare to ask why behead, and not other kind of death, just limit to say that God s ways are not ours. But definitively, John achieved his heavenly reward, greater than all the wonders and richness that he could have had far from God and doing his own will.
