Why was Peter`s rebuke a stumbling block to Jesus? Because Peter was trying to make Jesus to quit from the mission of his holy father. Peter was not focusing his mind in God"s plan, he was in the contrary, thinking in his flesh and wanted Jesus to avoid the sacrifice that Jesus wanted to offer to his father for our salvation.

Why didn`t Jesus want his disciples to tell others that He was the Christ? BECAUSE JESUS KNEW THAT THE OTHER PEOPLE WOULD NOT BE OPEN TO UNDERSTAND AND BELIEVE THAT JESUS WAS THE CHRIST, BECAUSE THEY HAD A FLESH MIND YET.
