Given the scandals associated with the women Tamar, Rahab, Ruth and the wife of Uriah (Bathsheba), why do you think they were mentioned in the geneology of Jesus?
All the persons mentioned in the geneology of Jesus are part of God's plan, of the holly history of salvation. They are the necessary chain of people that God choose. It was true and we can not put make up on it. Jesus was the sun to lighten all the shadows. To save all the generations past, present and future.

How do you think Peter felt after his discussion with Jesus?
I understand that the discussion that was held between Jesus and Peter it was about the real feelings of Peter towards Jesus. The bible said that Peter after that discussion felt grieved, because it was like Jesus putting in doubt his love towards him. But what was really happening is that Jesus wanted Peter to reafirm his love three times, and also to understand that love must not be a feeling but must be proved, that is why Jesus quoted: if you love me Peter, feed my lambs, my sheep. If you love me Peter, do what I am commissioning to do. After the discussion, Peter probably asked himself, is it my love for Jesus not so strong as I thought, and wondering why Jesus asked that?....trying to find out what was missing in his love towards Jesus. !Kind of wonder, kind of dissapointment.! But in the other hand, we have the responsability of the task that jesus was giving him, probably Peter after the discussion, was trying to figure out about the task, and relating it to the love Jesus was demanded him to have in order to fullfill that task. There is another part of the discussion, about someone that would betray Jesus. Over this point, I think Peter felt sad, sorry for the person that would do that to his master Jesus, but also worryness, and probably impotence to do something to avoid it. Condemnation to that person.

Why do you think Jesus chose to appear to the disciples in this way?
Jesus appeared to the disciple-fishing-, without luck, to teach them that what ever they do in their life, especially in spreading the news of the Kingdom of God, they have to do it in his name, otherwise their labor would be unproductive. Jesus wanted the disciples to recognize him through the miraculous multiplication of the fish; to recognize his power that will be with them for ever. Jesus has arisen, he is alive, and consecuentely Jesus is ever the same and could do the same miraculous deeds of yesterday and always. Jesus wanted them to understand that the same as they were able to fish productively in Jesus'name, they could also do it in recruiting people for the kingdom of heaven.
