Why is it signficant that Jesus fulfilled what was predicted hundreds of years before? Note: Mark refers to the old Scriptures from the Prophet Isaiah (chapter 53) "He poured out his soul unto death, And He was numbered with the transgressors, And he bore the sins of many." Isaiah 53 contains many more matches to events in Jesus` life.

It is significant that Jesus fulfill what was predicted hundreds of years before for the salvation of mankind. Now He is our Savior & our hope.

The Roman governor, Pilate, found that Jesus had done nothing wrong. Yet, he authorized Jesus` crucifixion to please the crowd. Can you explain why people put popularity above doing what is right?

I believe that people put popularity above doing what is right to go with the majority. No one wants to be a loner for fear of being crucified themselves. So keeping with the rest of the crowd gives them a sense of security.

The religious leaders assembled a court to judge Jesus. Jesus answered only one charge made against him, and also gave evidence to prove the charge. What was the charge and for what was Jesus determined guilty?

Jesus was charged with blasphemy admitting that He was the Christ, the Son of the Blessed which in the high priests eyes made Him guilty.
