In what ways do followers of Jesus fish for men? What does this mean? The followers of Jesus fish for men just means that they go out and spread Jesus' teachings. So the way they fish for men is that they spread the word of Jesus and hope that the word takes root or stay implanted in their brains.

How is Jesus coming into Galilee like light coming into a dark place? What is there about Jesus teaching that is like light? Jesus is like light coming into a dark place because He came teaching through parables & miracles, all these are like light because it opens our eyes to the truth & our sinfulness. He shows us the way by word, truth & example and we follow like children of darkness seeking a light.
