By doing so ... this would have given the devil, Satan Lucifer, the upper hand in the situation ... veiling truths would have been a temptation to step down from the example He is to us ... & this was not a temptation to be used as an example ... the dessert temptations were fer our benefits ... Also, we are taught to never waterdown the truth ... But to use it as a standard measure ...

JESUS 101 SUMMARY Jesus, Son of God has lived forever and for him and through Him all things were made. He became flesh and dwelt among us. He was born of the Virgin Mary and lived His childhood in obedience to His parents. He began his ministry when He was around 30 preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom of God or the Kingdom of Heaven. His claims to be God enraged the Jewish leaders who plotted against him and finally sent him to death. The Romans crucified Him. This was a criminal execution that served the purpose of The Lord. He died in the cross to atone for our sins as a sacrificial lamb. He rose from the dead on the third day. For 40 days he appeared to his disciples giving them further instructions and teachings. He gave way to the Holly Spirit to become our Helper by ascending into Heaven. We await His second coming when there will be a resurrection of all the dead and there will be judgment. The unrighteous will be sent to eternal condemnation and the righteous, those who believe in Him, will go with Him to live eternally by His side. Jesus is our Saviour and King. Amen.
