Christ was a historical , famous , real person. Sent to save us . He lived a good, sinless life. He set an example for all. He was sadly rejected and killed. He died willingly and sacrificially. His life and death assures our salvation and eternity in Heaven. His followors grew enormously.

In what way is Jesus still with us always? How can we be assured of Hi s presence?

We can see and feel His presence in everything we see. Our belief is that God is the creator of the Universe and all mankind, so how can you not be assured of His presence. As we fly across the country in an airplane and look down, how could one have any doubt there was not a creator. We can feel the presence of God when He answers our prayers and gives us the strength and courage to go about our lives to do His will.

Why didn`t the elders want the true story of Jesus` resurrection to get out?

The elders feared the truth and they knew that if the people found that Jesus had arisen on the third day, the people's faith would be restored and they would know Jesus was truly the Son of the Christ.
