JESUS was the only person in our history who has been without sin. Despite the nature of the sin caused by these women, it demostrates that the world was imperfect. Even the lineage in which JESUS was born. JESUS was born into this world so through him all of our sins would be forgiven. AMEN! Why did God choose such a unique way (through a virgin birth) to bring Jesus into the world? God choose such a unique way so that the words spoken by the Lord through the prophet saying "Behold the virgin shall be with a child and shall bring forth a son who will be called Immanuel" .

Given the scandals associated with the women Tamar, Rahab, Ruth and the wife of Uriah (Bathsheba), why do you think they were mentioned in the geneology of Jesus? To show that everyone was imperfect except for Jesus and that He was sent to die for our sins so that we may be forgiven.
