Given the scandals associated with the women Tamar, Rahab, Ruth and the wife of Uriah (Bathsheba), why do you think they were mentioned in the geneology of Jesus?
To show that within the geneology of Jesus even sinners can be saved. Jesus died for our sins. Blessings.

They had all sinned and we are all sinners and Jesus came to carry all our sins to the cross. When God forgives our sins, it is removed and God remembers it no more!

If it is God's will he can save anyone. He is a loving and forgiving Father. He knew their sin and loved them, they are his children too.
