33570 entries for this category: the first reaction must have been shock and then confusion. the other disciple, (John) saw the way the linen was lying there and he believed that Jesus rose from the dead because why would somebody take the body and leave the linen? i believe John believed before he understood the scripture. What do you think the disciples felt when they saw the tomb was empty?
