When Jesus said, "it is finished", what did "it" refer to? That is, what was finished? Jesus's mission from God the father was completed. Jesus, the unblemished lamb was sacraficed for all our sins. We now have the opportunity to believe in Jesus, be forgiven of our sins and have eternal life with God the Holy father and our Lord and savior Jesus! AMEN!
