33570 entries for this category: Jesus wanted to make them clean spiritually and He wanted Judas to see the love He had for them even though he would betray Him and He was going to be crucified. I think in reality it was to make Judas feel guilty in knowing that this man is going to die, He knows I am His betrayer, yet He allows me to be present at the washing of the disciples feet. Jesus love for us is so strong He forgives us though we still have to be punished for our wrong doings. What sort of place do you think Jesus is preparing for you? As a believer, a Christian and a new person in Christ, I know Jesus is preparing a place for me where I can be with Him. A place of Peace, Joy and Comfort, a place in His Father's house, a place of eternal hope.

Why did Jesus wash the disciples` feet when Judas was present, rather than watiing until that betrayer had left?

Why did Jesus allow Judas to betray Him, when He clearly knew Judas` evil intention? This was the way Jesus was suppose to die for our sins, by the hands of His own people. The will of the Father had to be fulfiled.
