Jesus came from heaven to save ALL sinners. To give ALL of humankind the glorious opportunity to repent, ask for forgivness and come to Jesus! That was his purpose and still is.Jesus, while not condoning adultery, forgave the woman and showed her compassion. He also told her to sin no more. Jesus used this situation to teach us that we are all sinful and it is better to offer forgiveness and compassion instead of pointing fingers.
