How is the Holy Spirit like rivers of living water? The Holy Spirit strengthens, sets apart, saves, justifies, witnesses, prompts to love and leads all through the word which God inspired. We are strengthened by the word of God, which is the sword of the Spirit, which is part of the whole armor of God. The Holy Spirit will lead us through the Word of God. The Spirit gives directions through the word of truth, the inspired scriptures, how to become children of God and how to live the kind of life becoming to children of God. Thus, when our own spirit bears testimony that we conform our life to these instructions, we can know that we are led by the Spirit of God.

How is the Holy Spirit like rivers of living water? When we receive the Holy Spirit we have an endless supply of of the life-giving water so that we may know that we shall thirst no more and receive the kingdom of God through salvation.
