"...honor your father and mother, and love your neighbor as yourself."

When Jesus changed the water to wine, He honored His mother's request to remedy the situation.  This is not to say that she knew Jesus would turn water to wine, but knew that He would know what to do.  Jesus showed love to the wedding hosts when He turned water to wine.  It would have been an embarrassment if the wine had run out.  Jesus prevented the embarrassment.
