What do you think Andrew saw in Jesus that caused Andrew to follow Him and tell Simon about Him? I don't know. Andrew only heard John the baptist mentioned that Jesus is the Lamb of God. It was only Andrew himself knew what he saw in Jesus that caused him to follow Jesus.

Exodus 29:38-39 speaks of the two lambs to be sacrificed each morning and evening for the sins of the people. Jesus came to sacrifice His life for all people. This act took away our sins, once and for all. Jesus stood in for the daily lambs. He was the lamb. John the Baptist knew this to be the case and referred to Jesus as "the Lamb of God".
