How did John`s testimony prepare people to receive Jesus and His message? John spread the gospel and the word of God, telling people of the Savior being sent to heal the souls of the masses. He told of all the powers Jesus posessed and that he was among them, living and preaching God's word as predicted.

How did John`s testimony prepare people to receive Jesus and His message? John spoke of the One that was among the people whose sandal strap he was not worthy of loosening. He prepared people by speaking of the Most Holy Jesus, the only Son of God, and baptizing with water preparing us to be baptized with the Holy Spirit.
