Why is it signficant that Jesus fulfilled what was predicted hundreds of years before? Note: Mark refers to the old Scriptures from the Prophet Isaiah (chapter 53) "He poured out his soul unto death, And He was numbered with the transgressors, And he bore the sins of many." Isaiah 53 contains many more matches to events in Jesus` life.

For the chosen people of God were still heart-harded and wouldn't turn back to God, so Jesus had to carry the sins of the world to hung on the wood and by Jesus the people could go to God.

What was Jesus feeling and thinking while he was mocked and humiliated in front of others? Recall Jesus` own teachings (Matt 5:11), "Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven."

Jesus felt sad for them and above all in His heart He forgave them as He said to the father; " They don't know what they are doing."

The Roman governor, Pilate, found that Jesus had done nothing wrong. Yet, he authorized Jesus` crucifixion to please the crowd. Can you explain why people put popularity above doing what is right?

I think it is because this is the worldly thing; agree with the most and go against the least.
